Bromley Works for residents and businesses

Bromley Works helps Bromley residents find work and supports local businesses to recruit locally.

Bromley Works is a new council service that connects people to funded employment programmes and real job opportunities in the borough.

Right now, it offers specific funded programmes for certain groups of residents. Over time, the aim is to grow the service so more people can be supported, as funding becomes available.

Connect to Work

Connect to Work is a free employment programme run by Bromley Works.

It offers one-to-one support for Bromley residents who want to get into work but may need extra help. This could include support if you have been out of work for a while, have a health condition or disability, or face other challenges.

The programme also helps local employers by matching them with Bromley residents who are looking for work and supporting fair and inclusive recruitment.

Bromley Trailblazer

Bromley Works runs a Trailblazer employment support programme through 2026-27.

The programme offers tailored support to help Bromley residents who are not currently in employment to build confidence, gain skills, and move into paid employment.

If you’re a parent, returning to work, or facing barriers like health or caring responsibilities, you can get one-to-one support, training and access to funded work placements. Local businesses can also benefit from funding of up to £9,000 to help cover the cost of employing and supporting a new employee. Bromley Works delivers the programme with a focus on creating long-term, sustainable jobs.
