Business leaders gather at The Royal Bell for exclusive Opportunity Bromley networking event
Some of Bromley's most ambitious businesses came together at The Royal Bell recently for an invite-only evening networking event hosted by Opportunity Bromley.
The event brought together a select group of high-growth businesses from across the borough, providing an opportunity to network with fellow business leaders, hear the latest updates from Opportunity Bromley and contribute to discussions that will help shape Bromley's economic future.
The event was supported by Peter Fortune MP, who joined attendees for an evening of conversation and collaboration, highlighting the importance of supporting business growth and creating the conditions for businesses to thrive within the borough.
Guests received updates on the work being delivered by Opportunity Bromley, including plans for future business engagement and opportunities for local companies to have their voices heard in key strategic initiatives. A particular focus was the forthcoming update to Bromley's Employment Land and Space Study, with businesses encouraged to take part and help inform the evidence base that will shape future employment and workspace provision across the borough.
Attendees also heard about upcoming business support and networking opportunities, including the Bromley Creatives Networking Event on 14 October, which will bring together creative businesses and freelancers from across the borough, and the Meet the Buyer event on 10 November, designed to help local businesses connect with potential procurement and supply chain opportunities.
The evening also included a discussion on the development of the Opportunity Bromley Bondholder Scheme, which generated significant interest among attendees. The scheme will bring together leading businesses and organisations that share a commitment to promoting Bromley, supporting economic growth and strengthening the borough's investment offer.
